Electric Motors Seem Really Loud At Low Speeds - Is This Normal? (Video)

I find that the motors are really loud when traveling at low speeds (<15 MPH) with the radio off. When I have music or a podcast on I don't notice this noise. Also at higher speeds I don't notice it.

It has been persistent... going on for months now.

Is this normal or should I bring it in?

I have the same sound, maybe even a bit louder. It has developed after about 2k miles.

I've had 1 SC tell me all CTs will sound like that and it's the gearbox, but had another recently tell me that replacing the front motor could fix that.

Some whine is normal. Yours seems a bit on the louder side, not sure I could capture mine on audio like you have here. If you take it in and report it, there is a documented paper trail if something was to happen in the futures related to it, it’s going to be covered. Worst case the techs say it’s normal. Best case it gets fixed.
