Would be nice and we definitely have the dash space for it.

Problem we are running into now is with the CT sales numbers lower, way lower than originally hoped for, the accessory market for stuff is pretty rough shape.
If there were 600,000 CTs out there instead of 60,000 there would likely be four options of those sunshades on the market, just tough when the current potential sales market is 50k ish trucks owned by individuals.

It’s true. The aftermarket has certainly taken a hit from the lower than expected sales numbers.

There's millions of vehicles with huge windshields in hot climates, I had a Pacifica that I would have loved to have an automated shade cover, but it also doesn't exist. I've seen them for roof glass, but never any serious product for windshield.

There's some weird-ass pull across windshield shades on eBay that look hokey and you would have to reach across the cabin and dash to use it and retract, no thanks.

RV's have some after market powered stuff, but RV's also have a very vertical front windshield.

So in the context of supercharging and instant pop up privacy I think this would be particularly useful in a Tesla
