I’m trying to figure out what the ideal alignment of the body panels are. Not the “normal” alignment, as each CT demonstrate great variability in alignments. (They are like fingerprints, all a bit different).
For instance, is the tailgate intended to be flush to the rear of the truck? Some are, most are not.
is the hood to be flush with the fenders?
Is the front panel to be flush (not sure if that is the correct word) with the fenders?

I’m trying not to be bothered by it, but if I’m thinking about getting it wrapped, the panels should be aligned as intended right?

help me out, please

thanks

It's tough to tell from close ups as they tend to exaggerate gaps and alignment of panels by at least 3-5x of what is perceived by the naked eye in reality. I personally do not see any real issues.

You are right about the exaggeration in the photos. In real life it doesn’t affect function but some gaps and edges that don’t quite meet are indeed noticeable. I have some door alignment issues that will be addressed and I will ask the service center if they’ve learned anything new about what is “normal.”

when I’m sitting inside and driving, all these little issues, if they are issues, disappear into a smile.
