Add this to your response chart/graph:

NO regrets.
None technically.
None emotionally.
None politically.
None financially.

Grateful I was able to get one.

It’s so good to hear everyone is loving this amazing vehicle

I actually make up a reason every day just to be able to drive it. Love it!!!
Haha. I actually look for any reason to drive mine as well.

It's just a funny thing to complain about. And some have been able to return trucks for cause, so... it's not exactly sight unseen. And it"s standard for Tesla to sell cars without test drives. They were doing that when we put our reservations down.

Yeah, it's not customer friendly. Yeah, it's not as good as their original return policy. But it's not unique to the Cybertruck or novel when the truck was announced.

Saying that is a funny thing to complain about makes You come off like you only have a perspective of a person who has only bought Tesla vehicles for the last few years.

The other side to that is this is my first Tesla Tesla and to use your words it hasn’t been a very customer friendly experience in the least. Obviously not enough to sway me from putting down my 1k deposit on my beast but you laugh it off like it is common practice for a company to sell you a vehicle almost sight unseen ( and by that I mean in person at a location not via YouTube) no test drive (especially because the tech is far different than anything else Tesla has previously sold from a driving perspective) then to top it off they issue a clause that you can’t sell it and if you do it must be back to them where they give you the value of the vehicle but you still lose out of the 8k-12k in taxes you paid

So tell me Crissa how is that just some “ funny “ thing to complain about as if it’s not logical .

Would like to get a consensus of opinions from owners who have had their CT for over a month now?

I love the car but have friends looks to sell saying it’s too big for an everyday day.

Curious to hear others opinions.
I've seen rubber inserts for phone charging dock. My phone has a cover and a handle grip so it stay far enough away from charging sensor that my phone does not charge. I purchased a USB-C to USB-C cable which is inserted into center console into the USB-C port. The cable routes easily while console lid remains closed. And it charges very fast.

As far as my Cyberbeast goes. It's the fastest, most technologically advanced ride on the planet to my knowledge.
I've parked next to a Ford F-150 and the size appears identical.
And with the steer by wire the truck maneuvers like a sedan not a truck.

Three full months-
- the first several weeks made me feel like I was a shirtlesss Brad Pitt in a convertible. Star quality. Here in LA the camera phones were and are still out. I’ve stopped noticing so much. But it was fun.
- not a single issue with the performance or quality of the truck
- I grew up a farm boy and trucks are in my blood, this is my first since leaving the farm 50 years ago- it’s such fun.
- I drove a Jeep Wrngler for 20 years and I had been wanting a new one for a “fun” ride. NO MORE!!! I look at them and just smile. This is my ride or die vehicle.
- all the technology, all electric, the room, towing, smooth comfort. It’s perfect.
- I preordered day two and didn’t think much about actually “getting” it, and when they sent me the invite in January I hesitated for about 12 hours. And I’m so glad I pulled the trigger - YOLO, it has made me feel better than anything else I have ever purchased.

Yeah, I don't mean it to be an insult. Just that's how it was when the truck was announced.

I don't disagree with you, I just found it a funny thing for you to point out.

Now you're upset with the no-resell clause, and that's even more hilarious; the only reason you'd have to sell it is if it were broken or some sort of household crisis - which Tesla said were valid reasons.

I like it as an everyday driver, but prefer my S when I am in town to use it. Around towns and pavement I prefer a car. Not saying it can't work in urban. I might feel differently once FSD is enabled in the CT.

In the wild it is truly stellar. A comfortable quiet elevated EV platform.

Have driven well over a million miles in life, and 16k in this new truck. It behaves well. Is it ornery in parking lots? Not really. Many less turns to get into a spot compared to even a car once one gets used to it.

It doesn't get the door dings, but it can sure give them.

I have not noticed any heating to speak of in my phone. I have a Galaxy S21 Ultra in an Otterbox case. Makes me wonder if the thicker case is somehow resulting in less loss in the phone. I expect this makes the transfer over-all less efficient, but if the phone has clamping diodes on the coils for protection that could explain why local heating in the phone is reduced with more air gap. Maybe folks with phones that get hot can also try different thickness pads.
I had problems since getting the truck so I bought a usb c to usb c to charge my Pixel 7a phone. I put my phone in the charger spot all the time and recently noticed it is now charging to 100% without being plugged in. I am thinking that was one of the minor updates and fixed in one of the recent updates. It would charge at 205-350ma and then drop to zero within a minute. It seems to be fixed now, at least in my truck. I also have a otter box case.

Best road-trip ride ever. Turn on adaptable cruise control and steering is the only thing to do. Smooth and powerful. This thing is amazing

don’t doubt your vibe

supply and demand. I'm sure there are other expensive models out there that you cannot test drive and must take it or leave it.

I took delivery April 10th and have about 2600 miles, almost half off-pavement and off-road. I knew it would have great driving dynamics for a truck but it's so much better than I dreamed in my wildest dreams.

Zero problems to date, everything works, haven't had any recalls done because everything is working. Samsung phone charges fast and doesn't overheat. Taking it camping in the mountains tomorrow! The bed is huge, even with the tonneau cover secured. The ride on or off road is phenomenal.

No other vehicle can measure up to the comfort, convenience, versatility, driving dynamics and utility. Sure, some high-end luxury cars have a smoother, quieter ride, a full-sized van might have more utility (at least on paved roads), and a sports car has better driving dynamics (on smooth pavement), but it's the blend of these things that makes it special.

Pros: Love the truck. It’s fast, drives like a race car, acts like a truck (for hauling stuff and Home Depot). Easy on the wallet for electricity and maintenance. Loads of fun to drive and has become my daily driver for errands around town. It’s like driving a computer or space ship. I’m waiting for Captain Kirk to jump out at any second telling me it’s his turn to drive.

Cons: The purchase felt like “Thanks for the money… now don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way out the service center.” Support is horrible … getting help for getting things fixed feels like “We will get to you when we feel like it… we might answer you in a week or so” Tesla’s support leaves a lot to be desired. Example: They want me to pay $88 to fix a crazy loud creak in the cabin on a brand new vehicle. Interior is nice, but it’s not the luxury you get from any other vehicle over $100k. Still waiting on wheel covers and FSD. Would be nice to get realistic time frames for when we may obtain that. Still too much attention… so much so I think twice about going to the grocery store. The attention gets old after a while… but this is beginning to wane thank goodness. iPhone doesn’t charge and overheats. Nothing from Tesla on a fix for that as it’s a basic function. Even my Ford can wirelessly charge an iPhone.

I regret living without a Cybertruck for so long
I felt the same way when I bought my first Tesla in 2018. Why did I wait so long?

Best road-trip ride ever. Turn on adaptable cruise control and steering is the only thing to do. Smooth and powerful. This thing is amazing
Wait until you get FSD and it does all the driving. I may leave the Cybertruck at home and take the X if we don't get FSD before my 3k mile August road trip. I can't fathom actually having to drive myself.

Having vault access from the cab would be great to have. Especially for camping, grocery shopping etc. I wonder if there is a way to install a removable back glass like Corvettes have?
