Reserved: 1/22/19; Ordered: 1/11/24; Vin: 6/26/24; PICKED UP: 7/11/24
I got a call around noon yesterday that my Beast was in, when did I want to pick it up? I said now? They said how about 3PM.

Maybe it was a rush on their side, but clean up wasn't spectacular. Delivery process was non-informative. A walk around to look for damage, lets get your app attached, here are the keys, any questions come in and ask.
Set up a few things and drove it home.

Only real problem with the truck was the frunk was out of alignment. The drive was great (took a little getting used to steering and size, I was coming from a Model 3). The interface needs a bit of getting used to also, not something you want to learn when you’re do 65 on the highway.

Congrats are they going to correct the alignment on the frunk for you?

If you are talking about the fender coming past the frunk by a small margin, I don't think there's going to be much to do there without compromising the ability to seal and make it waterproof at 100mph.

I have looked at that pic and have no idea what’s wrong with the alignment. I’m picking up next week. OP, can you explain what’s misaligned?

I noticed the same on delivery day, compared with rest of the CT lying around in the service center. All of them are like that!

I feel that if you get a CT, you need to be cool with all kind of rough alignment. Ours has that too and its fine, just don't look at stuff so up close.

Most of the defects I let go by. I went to dry off the CT and the towel dot caught on the edges. That just isn't right. The edges there are sharp too. I'll post what they say at the SC when I bring it it and I'll try to get better pictures.

I just picked up my Cyberbeast yesterday too. Having taking delivery of X, Y and S in past, it’s a bit easier to pick out the gaps that are uneven from side to side. With the Cybertruck, I”m also curious what is acceptable unacceptable. For example, I noticed that the front side fenders maybe go past the frunk few mm or 1/2 cm but it’s symmetric both sides. Assume that’s normal?

That's part of it. Still waiting to see what Tesla SC has to say about it.

Yeah, my Beast has a slight overlap at the frunk too. There are certain dimensions that I can't assume is not an allowed spec. Mayne It's all part of the design. CT breaks most of the rules we grew up with on our vehicles. I mean no steering stocks. Amazing.
This uniqueness is by design for Elon Musk mfg thinking (ref. 2023 Biography Book).
The engineering is a complete and total vehicle rethink (i.e. 48V) You could almost say each truck has a unique fingerprint. Car companies just don't do that. For example the angular SS portion running along the truck bed on my truck has a slight wave that remains after the giant roll of super hard and super strong steel was straightened out. I say so what.
It's another thing I like about my truck. Yes I also have snagged a "micro" fiber towel on a SS edge. But those towels are extra sensitive. If I can't handle it I'll file it down someday. This feels like idiosyncrasies of owning a "Foundation Series" Cybertruck.
And we all love it I know you do too.
Congratulations.
