Hand soap, scrub , hot water rinse, and tissue dry, my glasses are sparkling clean. No need for anything more fancy.

Fingerprints are just smudged grease. Simple soap does the job.
But unlike grease, fingerprints and similar skin oils are slightly acidic- does this leave an oxidative stain (if left over time) that requires more than soap to remove?

I read through this thread and didn't see anything about just taking the CT to the car wash. Wouldn't that do a decent job of removing fingerprints? It cleans my Model Y pretty nicely and I get finger prints on that all the time.

I think there should be a wrap that is nothing but fingerprints all over the CT. That way it would mess with the OCD'ers while keeping the CT pristine.

I'll wrap mine when there's a wrap that mimics duct tape and barbed wire.

When I decided to put an emblem on my Cybertruck (the one I will see someday in the future) I created a graphic for it and sent it to a vinyl wrap printer. Why couldn't you just create a duct tape and barbed wire pattern and have it printed on vinyl? I am thinking that you might be joking at least in part but the point is that you can print anything you can design. My 2 emblems, one for each door, are 2'x'2' and they cost me about $50 (and, sadly, another $50 for shipping).

I'd be weary of a shop that can't remove finger prints.
I'd be wary of any truck owner who is afraid of fingerprints. I mean, life is hard and complex. Most people have many goals and objectives. I'm having a hard time thinking this concern for fingerprints is real.

If people are really as concerned as they let on, then I have a real concern for the future of humanity. This is one of the oddest concerns I've ever encountered. Next thing you know people will be worrying that there is a scuff on their bedliner!

...oh, wait...

In this day and age, people forget the most effective cleaner is elbow grease.
