Got an 8000 vin today from a 3/6 order. I do not know which SC it would be at for pickup. All insurance and payments submitted in the app.

Who to call to get more info... any tips?
I can’t see the ordering steps screens anymore in the app because I already have my cyber truck. But when you’re in the app and you go into the details of your order, the very first screen has your order and your address. if you keep scrolling down near the bottom there is a Tesla location Which shows the service center you will be picking up at. Doesn’t matter that the delivery address says your home address. It will still say a Tesla location with a service center address.

@Jabman Hope you are not impacted but Tesla got back to me and apologized.

Supposedly the system is offering regular appointments (non CT orders) and also offering to pull appointments forward. The staff is having to manually schedule/reschedule CT appointments to ensure they are spaced out enough for the team to support.

Unfortunately I was. They waited until 6:30pm (more than 8 hours) to contact me and tell me my delivery needs to be pushed to Saturday. I am away next Saturday so I had to push it to the following Monday (5/20) ?
It’s upsetting but I at least now have a definitive date and time. It’s silly for a grown man to mope about something as trivial as a vehicle when there are much worse things in life than waiting an extra week. (Trying to give myself perspective). Good luck to you and thanks

How many people have actually been contacted by an electrician after informed you were eligible for PowerShare?

I received one an email saying I qualified then shortly afterwards another saying my zip code was incorrect (it wasn’t) and was asked to fill the form out again. I did so with the same information, both emails were in February, since then nothing. Not sure who to contact, I called 800 and they just said they would sent it over to the correct team.

Calling Tesla will probably lead nowhere. I was contacted by Sure Electric in Marlboro. Not sure where you’re at, but I would try calling them to see if they got the job from Tesla. Two guys came out on Friday to give me an estimate (which I haven’t received yet) and they mentioned this was like the 7th or 8th estimate they were doing for PowerShare this week

Thank you! I’m in northern NJ, little over an hour from Sure Electric. Might be too far for them but I will give them a call to see. Hopefully they will want it and can contact Tesla since they have direct access.

Picked up my Tesla yesterday @Administrator

Princeton pick up 5/11/24

Asked about PowerShare and it seems Sure is dropping the ball - that’s not what Tesla said but seems to be the case.

Pick up was perfect experience - other than dirt in the bed - no issues at all.

Awesome, glad everything went well!

I was also impressed with Princeton. My normal SC I get work done from is Springfield and they are horrible. Princeton is much further drive but May but the bullet and switch when I need work done.

Tesla assigned Sure for my PowerShare install. I sent them all the info they requested and weeks later they wrote back saying they were declining to handle my install. I’m still waiting to hear from Tesla on getting a new installer. Not fun.

Really? Any indication why they declined?

Congrat Jay.
Enjoy your new CT.
I’ve had mine for a week now and love it.
Minor things to get used to, but fun.

Thanks and congrats as well!

Most surprising - the wheels and tires! Can’t get a sense of that in pictures - they’re huge!

Such a great ride - and everyone coming up to the vehicle to gawk. Hard to get used to!

Definitely would have waited longer knowing what I know now - but glad we didn’t have to..

Hello everyone. I placed my order for AWD CT. I debated for 2 weeks after I got the email to place the order, but finally succumbed to... you only live once. Nearest SC to me is Cherry Hill. Anyone from south jersey get it wrapped? If so suggestion for location. Also this is my first Tesla... How does it work with getting the Universal charger... does that get mailed to your house before the vehicle or after... if after how long... I mean how do you charge the truck w/o the charger (other than the trickle charger). Knowing how long it takes to get electricians out, does that mean I will need to go to superchargers until I get it delivered / installed? No idea how long any of that takes.

Congratulations!! Welcome to the CT owners' club!

Sure came out last week and did a site visit after I sent in my information via their information gathering link.

Got quoted for over $6,000 for the Powershare and a dedicated charger. That is crazy expensive! The charger is $2,800, the Powershare is $2,900.... meanwhile, my neighbor got a charger installed for $1,800 (no Powershare, just home fast charger). PSE&G will give back $1,500 statement credit... The last time I lost power was last year for 30 mins, and the year before for 3 hours FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR. I have Solar at home, it doesn't make sense for me to spend over $4k to prepare for something I may never need. I do have a $300 portable dual fuel (gasoline or propane gas) in case of anything.

The CT does come with its mobile charger... yes, if it plugs into the wall with the standard outlet, it will take 20 hours to go from 40% to 60%... if it plug into your dryer plug with the included adapter, it will go much faster.... no super charger needed if you use the CT as your weekend ride and week day dinner party ride. If you are using it for commute, home dedicated charger is the only viable way unless you use the super charging network or plugin at work.
