For those of you are still working, the CT deliveries definitely picked up some speed lately.... and earlier this evening, just spot a truckload of them on the NJTP today heading from Newark rail yard southbound.

Hello everyone. I placed my order for AWD CT. I debated for 2 weeks after I got the email to place the order, but finally succumbed to... you only live once. Nearest SC to me is Cherry Hill. Anyone from south jersey get it wrapped? If so suggestion for location. Also this is my first Tesla... How does it work with getting the Universal charger... does that get mailed to your house before the vehicle or after... if after how long... I mean how do you charge the truck w/o the charger (other than the trickle charger). Knowing how long it takes to get electricians out, does that mean I will need to go to superchargers until I get it delivered / installed? No idea how long any of that takes.

GM Chris. Same here first Tesla, and WHAT a Tesla!! I installed a NEMA14-50 outlet on the back of the house near where the CT is parked to charge it while I wait for the Uni Wall Charger to get installed. Still don’t know by who. Might end up being me. Just gotta get Tesla to agree to ship the HW to me.
I get about 18mi/hr charging with the mobile connector on 32A/240V

Thank you for the responses. I guess I will have to "figure it out" for until the UWC comes and I can get it installed. I am pretty sure my dryer outlet is gonna be just over the length of the cord.

Check if your dryer outlet is a NEMA14-50.
My dryer was a 30A connection, not a 50A.
The mobile connector is 15A/120V and 50A/240V (even though max pull is 32A).
That is why I installed the 50A outlet, so I could use the mobile connector.

Picked up my CT yesterday at the Princeton location!

Everything went smooth besides the fact that they contacted me 2 hours before delivery time to push it back 1 hour. The place is over packed and short staffed, mixed with the .99% financing, they are busier than ever.

Tyler is the only specialist who is handling all CT deliveries. He was wrapping up the 1 other CT delivery for Saturday so I had to wait about 40-45 min. Once done, paperwork was fairly quick and easy and then the walkthrough which took about 30-40 mins since it’s my first Tesla.

Unfortunately, it was raining but no mismatch panels or alignment issues. Truck was clean for the most party and inside was spotless. I’ve driven Tesla’s before so the drive is very similar besides the steer by wire which took a few mins to adjust to. Overall, the truck is bigger than expected but love the features and tech so far!

Damn most of my reason for getting AWD instead of beast was to get it faster. But, I configured 12/28 and took deliver 4/12 so you’ll end up with your beast like 6 weeks after me. Damn….
