Stars in the Ceiling and Forza Motorsports Inc. seem to have completed the first Waido Widebody kit.

I appreciate the effort that went into the design and excecution but my use case is more rugged truck style than street oriented.

Bigger Fender flares is not "wide body"

Once someone cuts into the stainless steel and welds on an actual wide body then that will be a wide body.

My use case scenario is about 90%-95% street where I would love to drive (*ahem*) politely aggressively... so lowering rather than raising makes more sense most of the time, and a wider wheel base could possibly increase stability in cornering, and some kind of aero front bumper to funnel air to the brakes and function as a spoiler would make sense, and maybe a rear bumper that functioned as a spoiler as well. But said front bumper would have to include capacity for a winch for the other 5%-10% of my time as well as housings for additional lighting over stock, plus be made out of something rugged but preferably lightweight... Likewise, the rear bumper would still need to accommodate a heavy duty hitch for that 5%-10% of the time as well.

Not sure why a widebody kit couldn't be created that kept the truck functions but added street improvements for the daily on road driving... and look good while doing it.

This kit is overpriced and underfunctional, meaning uninspired, IMHO, AND does not improve aesthetics either. So it's lose-lose from my perspective.

Soooo... not my thing.

Again, hard pass. Back to the drawing board for another attempt. Please do better next time.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers

imagine editing this video and thinking

-- ah yes, these .2 second clips blurred together with .1 second overlapping transitions will definitely ensure all see this product.

I got motion sickness from the fucking video. Terrible.

Cant even say anything about the product cuz I dont know what it looks like.

Back in my childhood... I was in love with the Lamborghini Countach. This kit gives me some of those vibes. Though it is hard to see through all the fades, fuzz, and epileptic seizures. There is a bit of a draw to have this kind of kit but it would have to be a 2nd CT for me. Not likely I'd go that route any time soon.

But it could be fun. Though I might just get into too much trouble.
