Considering going with gloss black was curious if wavy panels show more with the black ? And any other cons ?
Thanks ?

The PPF installer informed me before we started this process that he felt the gloss black choice did not show the inundations in the stainless steel panel like the matte or satin finish jobs. I suspect it is because gloss black reflects so much around it that it becomes almost invisible to the viewer. I will add however that I did not have much of wavy surfaces before the application.

My only question in choosing black was would it make the CT hotter in the sun like a regular car? I never did get an answer about that.

I went with Matte - because of the slighty wave on the quarter panels - which I notice does change with thermal expansion on hot sunny days.

I went with vinyl as I wanted this Matte Gold Eclipse : it has a gradient so it looks Matt OD Green in the shade and Bronze matte gold in the sun...

The matte makes the body look dead flat...

Mine is gloss black vinyl with a ceramic top coat. No waves at all-like a mirror. Yes it gets hot to touch. Doesn’t show dirt like you would think. It is peeling a little on the sharp corners so I need to bring it in and take advantage of their warranty.

I went with glossy Black PPF and couldn't be happier. Everyone that looks at it says it looks like it's painted. no issues at all so far. If you live anywhere but St Pete you will love it lmao.

I've seen a couple gloss black CTs and they looked wavy when looking down the side. Are there wrap materials that flatten out the rear quarter panel waves better than others?
I've been holding off for almost 2 years now since getting my ''24 beast.
