You can put it on perfectly flat but ALL wrap material needs heated after install to activate and bond the adhesive. Otherwise mold will form under he film in short time and will also crack. If you aren't heating film one way or another after all installs, you are shorting your customer in a quality install.WTF is it with wrap installers and heat guns?!?!?
Do it right the first time dude!
Not wanting to be picky, but when I see the heat gun come out its a sign that they can't install without it.
What I mean is, if the guy is flattening the (already flat) panel with a heat gun, then he didn't install the film right and is making up for the mistakes by making the film flex to cover it up. Which will over time flex back again.
Heat gun = failure
