If Tesla does open the order books for the $61k RWD trim my guess is the margins will be slimmer than the $80k AWD trim.

Tesla is normally happy to open the order books. They started taking CT reservations in 2019, four years before the first deliveries. And they started taking Semi and Roadster pre-orders in 2017, so 7+ years ago.

But Tesla will not take your money for a RWD CT reservation, and that seems like a bad sign. Maybe we will see actual Semi or Roadster deliveries in 2025, but I'm not confident about the RWD CT.
