The 2024 non-FS have already been discounted, by $4,000 to $5,000. My guess is that we will eventually see further discounts or incentives on those too, but Tesla's first priority has to be moving the 2024 FS, which have been sitting in inventory for even longer.
The FS has a sizable discount as well. Hopefully they’ll figure out a formula that works.

For 2024 non-FS, the picture is also complicated by the $7,500 EV tax credit, which may or may not exist for much longer. Congress is now considering a bill to kill it.

At this moment, a basic 2024 non-FS AWD Cybertruck costs $75,990 -- that's $79,990 base price minus a $4,000 discount. But at the same time, most people can get a basic 2025 AWD CT for only $72,490 -- that's $79,990 minus the $7,500 EV tax credit. Obviously it makes no sense to get the 2024, if the 2025 is both newer and cheaper.

So right now, the only people who would seriously consider a basic 2024 CT are those who make too much money to qualify for the tax credit (income more than $150,000 individual or $300,000 married). This clearly limits the potential customer base.

But ... now let's say that the EV tax credit evaporates. In that case, a basic 2024 CT is still $75,990, while the cost of a basic 2025 CT rises to $79,990 -- for everyone. Now the 2024 looks more interesting to more people.

So maybe Tesla is waiting to see how the EV tax credit situation plays out. If the tax credit goes away, then the 2024 non-FS could suddenly become more attractive to potential customers, even if Tesla doesn't tack on any additional discounts or incentives.

Meh.. this is the first and last Tesla product I purchase. Will get rid of it once warranty is up… good riddance..
Their customer service /loyalty is horrible. Software amazing.

There are a lot of 2024 non-FS series too. How are they going to get rid of those?

I think having 0 or near it financing is a bigger lever.
Tesla may be waiting to see what happens with the $7500 tax credit on 2025 models before throwing more incentives at leftover non-FS 2024 models.

We need to get a class action lawsuite or petition going. This is BS
for what reason? Don’t auto manufacturers discount inventory all the time? Why would anyone waste time with a lawsuit for nothing??? I’m not understanding. I bought my Cybertruck and knew exactly what I was paying and I was okay with it. Why should I expect anything now?

Suppose Joe Blow is an early buyer of a Foundation Series CT. Let's say the price was $99,990 and it included free FSD.

OK, now suppose Tesla raises the price by $5,000 and drops the free FSD.

Joe is probably not going to say: "Oooh, the terms of the deal changed after my purchase. So now I need to send Tesla another $5,000 and deactivate my FSD". Instead, Joe will simply stick to the terms of the original deal, and Joe has every legal right to do that. Agree?

OK, now suppose Tesla lowers the price by $5,000 and adds free Supercharging.

Tesla is probably not going to say: "Oooh, the terms of the deal changed after Joe Blow's purchase. So now we need to refund $5,000 to Joe and give him free Supercharging". Instead, Tesla will simply stick to the terms of the original deal, and Tesla has every legal right to do that.

The bill that could kill the $7,500 EV tax credit (S.4237 - ELITE Vehicles Act)has only been introduced at this point, given the steps it has to go through it would be July 2025 and with a 30 day grace period in the bill if it passes, which it likely will not, it would be late summer/ early fall before it impacts customers, and sales.

I'd even settle for a cheap lifetime charging upgrade fee for existing foundation buyers. That would go a long way

Foundation with $500 in accessories and Supercharing works out to about $14,000 more assuming you get the tax credit on a 2025 AWD AND buy FSD with the 2025

Tesla is going to have to bump up the price incentive a good bit to move these FS, especially with all the early production issues that the2025 AWDs do not have.

$15,000 in superchaging is about 20,000-30,000 miles of supercharing depending where you live or how you drive. Very few Teslas charge more than 5,000 miles at a supercharger over the lifetime of the vehicle. So for most folks the lifetime supercharging is worth about $3,500 not $15,000

You’re right. I just checked all of California and there are only 2 new 2024 non-FS.

There’s a lot of 2025 demos now. Wonder what that’s all about.
