As a consumer, I avoid spending my money at retailers that I feel are spreading misinformation. And everyone knows the Cybertruck comes with a HEPA filter. Even if your filter has more restriction and/or removes smaller particles, I find the marketing graphic used to be particularly misleading:

It seems to imply that the OEM filter is not a real HEPA filter by depicting all kinds of particles coming through into the cabin. I've found it does an amazing job at capturing even the finest dust particles.
Besides, people see right through this kind of exaggerated, fake marketing, it devalues your brand.
Basenor: $44.99
Tesla: $100.00
That assumes the Basenor is about as good. It MIGHT be better, given that it claims an activated carbon stage, and Tesla's doesn't. Of course that's more use for smells than particles, and doesn't inform about particle count or flow rate or filter life or any of that.
But at under 1/2 the price, if it's at least nearly as good, it's certainly better than not replacing a filter that needs replacing.
Note: I didn't check shipping costs or speeds on either.
Seems like typical marketing puffery ?Besides, people see right through this kind of exaggerated, fake marketing, it devalues your brand.
I think you missed the point. It was about deceptive marketing practices. I have no idea if it flows as much air or filters particles as fine (and the graphic does not inspire confidence).Basenor: $44.99

I didn't miss the point. I also didn't feel deceived, or anything at all. (Spock, minus the seven year problem, is the ideal.) Obviously no filter provides a spring fresh scent and unicorn fart bubbles.I think you missed the point. It was about deceptive marketing practices.
