I think you will have success. Mine was low and needed to be raised up. Also forward at the front.
Unless the bump stops are already at minimum height. In that case you may have to experiment with extending them and seeing if it makes any difference. That will tell you if the trunk is touching them or if there is a gap. If there is a gap I would expect lowering the latch itself is the solution, like I did.

The verdict from Tesla higher ups is that after replacing my frunk under warranty (SS depression/divot on the passenger side and horizontal “striping” from the Brillo pad buffing machine) the drivers side height can’t be adjusted any further. The factory bump stops are as low as they can go. I actually pulled one out to see how they worked.

The adjustable bump stops consist of 2 separate parts. One bump stop is attached to the frunk lid and the other is attached to the plastic storage box.

Being a mechanically inclined I decided to place a transfer agent (grease) on both bump frunk bump stops to see if they were making contact. It appears that both of them are not. I made a SC appointment at a different SC to adjust the frunk latch to see if the frunk can be pulled down further.

Tesla made me a home appointment to replace the rubber corner pieces ($26 each) that attach to the valance because they were out of stock.

My bump stops were at minimum setting from the factory also. That doesn’t necessarily mean they are contacting the frunk and limiting its travel. I also had service adjust my frunk alignment and say it was “improved”, after which I significantly improved it myself. Of course I don’t know the circumstances service is referring to about no more adjustment possible, but you can experiment and determine if the bump stops are the limiting factor or not.

I would still suggest extending the bump stops slightly and see if it makes the frunk sit higher or not. If yes, then you know the bump stops are making it sit high, if not, you know there is a gap and the latch is likely just not pulling the frunk down far enough to touch the bump stops at the lowest setting.

The latch also makes an aggressive popping noise when opened. I haven't tried other CT's but I have a strong suspicion the latch is out of adjustment just like it was on our Model Y tailgate.

I created a service ticket for our Model Y right after delivery and the Tesla tech adjusted the latch and it now works perfectly. The loud popping noise disappeared.
