I agree with you! I am in the medical field, a dentist. I felt far more professional when I wore khakis a nice pressed white shirt and a tie. Hygienically scrubs make more sense. Covid was the death of all that. I’ll still feel a bit like a slob crawling out of bed, so to speak walking into the laboratory.

Ehh throw a white coat over the scrubs, problem solved. Honestly, how often did you have the tie cleaned when you were wearing it? Most docs would take it off and throw it over the back of their chair and put it right back on the next day. They did a study on it and they were gross..

Yep. Pretty sure this is why scrubs gained traction. Leave the ties for us lawyers.

Im sorry but scrubs are amazing. I couldn't picture working in a suit and tie all day long. True, maybe we could shave a bit more, but that's half of what the mask is for, you don't have to shave until the hairs start popping out of the side. Plus you're a trauma surgeon, if I'm a patient of yours, I don't care if you're wearing ass-less chaps, just fix me.

That’s one of the best parts of my job. Almost everyone I deal with is having the worst day of their life. You can only go up from there. Takes minimal effort to make a big improvement for them.
It’s like the first girl you date after a terrible marriage. She doesn’t even have to try that hard.
