This has been pretty frustrating where FSD does not reduce speed when it should and I can't find a way to force it to reduce speed without disengaging FSD.
Yesterday on a long drive the speed limit dropped from 55 to 30 regularly. The truck saw the 30MPH sign yet continued it's 57MPH speed well past that sign which is definitely problematic.
In looking into this topic, I found some articles saying that you can use the right scroll wheel to force a reduction in speed but that doesn't do anything at all. I can scroll that wheel downward as much as I want but it has zero effect on my speed.
So I've been fully disengaging FSD, reducing speed, and then re-enabling it. If I can influence FSD through acceleration without it disengaging I don't understand why I can't also influence it to reduce it's current speed.
Lastly, and because I don't think this merits its own thread...FSD follows way too closely to other vehicles to the point where I frequently disengage it and pull back a little bit because I'd be upset if someone were riding my ass the way my truck is doing it to others on FSD.
Is anyone else encountering any of this?
