FSD failed parking endless loop

Curious if anyone else has seen this behavior. Used FSD point to point and when I got to my destination, it picked a spot, pulled in head first then backed out like it was lining it up better then pulled in again then pulled out. It just kept doing it until I took over.

Looks like a small spot. A little tight to the car on the left and to accommodate, a little too close to being on the line. A human driver would just say “nah” and park in the spot to the right.

Agree, it could be that after 'acquiring' the spot it looks to determine exit space for you and passengers and determines it is too small. It then backs out to reposition the spacing.

Issac Asimov , the author of renowned for Robot Fiction, had a short story about a robot going into infinite loops.

I had the same thing happen in the Disney Springs lot. Stopped it after 4 times around makes you wonder how banish is going to work.
