Be patient. Tesla usually rolls out updates slowly to limit the impact of unexpected bugs. However, FSD seems to be going out quickly. While I don't have it yet, it seems I will within a week or two. Same with everyone who doesn't already have it.

Patience is key.
I assume you ordered yours the day of the reveal? I ordered mine about 11 the next morning central time.

It really is hard to explain to someone who's never used it for thousands of miles ? it's the reason I went with the CT over the hummer or rivian honestly. Charging network + fsd = the only way. Life changing stuff.
I had zero interests in EVs until I test drove a Model Y with FSD. Now I have model Y and Cybertruck and am getting solar. Yeah...FSD is mind-blowing.

yep def not ready for prime time…
Besides taking turns a bit too sharp (which let's be honest humans do ALL the time). What has been a glaring issue? I've only watched 2 videos so far.

Many of the people who have early access are the same people who got early access to FSD back in 2021. Some of those people immediately took to the Internet and posted videos of their early access and created channels around them. Those people remain in early access.

So, they put in work, developed credibility or at least an audience and Tesla saw the value and making sure that those people got new builds as soon as possible because of the quality of their feedback and reach.

Initially in order to get FSD you had to submit to Tesla monitoring your driving and score 100% the first people who did that were the first people who got FSD. Also remember, in order to have even gotten the ability to let Tesla monitor your driving so you could try FSD out you also had to have paid them for FSD at a time when subscriptions were not available and you were getting nothing but a promise for several thousand dollars ($7k when we first bought it in 2020).

I’ve been on FSD no more than a week longer than dirty Tesla and others but I don’t Vlog and I no longer have the camera button so I’m not officially early access. I still get the stuff generally pretty quickly. No I don’t have this update yet.

So, it’s not just undeserving influencers, and the folks who get it early generally have paid some dues to warrant their position.
Ah I remember getting back in town when FSD was initially released and you had to have a 100% score, I had a 99% score but you could reset it. So I reset it, went on the most grandpa drive at 2am in the morning when no one was on the road because if you took any turn at the speed limit you would get dinged xD Drove straight on a road for the 100 miles or w/e it was required to hit. Drove 10-20mph under the speed limit home. And let it sit there till I got FSD notification lol.

Still don't know how people could keep a 100% legitly. Taking turns at 10-20mph under speed limits, not getting cut off in traffic, and praying no cars parked on the street when making turns. So annoying .-.

I am able to use FSD while covering the internal camera in my testing. It does give a warning about it, but it kept operating for a short 3 mile drive in my first test.

Tesla Cybertruck FSD for Cybertruck is released!!!! 😱 Now pushing to early access 20240930_123111

So how do they decide who gets it? I would think someone who put in a day 1 reservation like me and waited over 4 years for their truck would get early access ??‍♂
Have you been a beta tester of FSD? Reservation time doesn’t matter at all. They need people who have done a lot of FSD over the years to help with the validation before going wide… it’s a small group of non-employees… you’ll get it soon

Not sarcasm. How is it FSD if it’s not?
It’s FSD (supervised).. there will be FSD unsupervised at some point. And lucid does not have a better system… at all. That’s what I thought was sarcasm

I just mean the option in the car. I had a friend tell me that early on with other Tesla models that it monitored your driving to see if you “qualified “ for the early software release. Not sure if that was ever true.
How did you sign up? Or you just mean the option in the car?
