Remember this overrides the emergency braking protocol, as you're telling it that it's safe to go faster than it 'thinks' it is safe to do.

So be extra vigilant if you do so.

-Crissa
Crissa is right.

Use the right button to reset it to higher or posted speed limit. Auto braking will remain active.

I took a 3 hour drive in FSD but When FSD was set in relative speed with +5 over speed limit, it chose to go 80MPH suddenly in a 60MPH zone then alerted me to take over and shut down for the rest of the trip. It had been doing very well up to that point. Prior to that I did struggle to keep it at 5miles over speed limit. It kept wanting to go faster. So now I have labeled it my Cyber Teen driver. Still needs some education and a little easier way to adjust the speed. The right button wheel didn’t really seem to do anything as far as speed adjustment. Overall other than that did well. It did come back online after I completed that leg of my trip.

I totally get what you are saying about perception, like I thought that model Y had plenty of room too, but the “too sharp turn” thing is definitely real. I’m perfectly comfortable clipping an apex since I always try to practice the racing line when i’m driving even if I’m in the truck going slow, but the CT turns in WAY too tight in certain specific situations and either runs over the curb, or ends up in the wrong lane on the perpendicular road after turning left too tightly. It feels like too much steering input commanded for the situation. Like I wonder if maybe the early turning angle data for the most basic left turns was collected when the rear steer only had 3 degrees of steering angle, but now that it has 10 degrees, the same steering input yaws the truck faster and the truck can’t correct because based on its training model it’s requesting the correct steering angle… or something…. Makes me wonder if turning off the rear steering would fix the left turn issue….

Seems we have common experiences and observations about FSD. I wrote this in another thread.

"To reinforce my observations or if I miss anything about FSD bugs or your own dangerous situational
experiences, am asking to also report it.

Email it to [email protected]. They suggest to do it after your interventions via voice command but it seems putting you in more danger and it's too quick and quickly vanishes on the screen.

1. Short-cut left and right turns that I have hit islands several times that both my right front mud guards are either damaged or already gone.

2. It often times straddle the solid yellow and white lines that it often come too close to the concrete barriers and freeway dividers.

3. It crosses solid yellow and white lines in turns.

4. It encroaches on the other lane, taking about 1/4 to 1/2, while negotiating a curve. Inconsistent in slowing on sharp curves to follow curve's lower speed limit.

5. It don't take preparation to be in exit and entry lanes of freeways but makes a last minute lane change that it often crosses the solid white delineating line instead of doing it on the safe broken white line.

6. Make a sudden brake instead of slowing down on red traffic lights nearly bumping into already stopped cars or trucks in front even if it's showing red brake lights.

7. Don't seem to react to stop, instead making multiple warning noise about vehicles encroaching into my lane.

9. Don't seem to recognize concrete barriers without the warning solid yellow or white lines.

10. Don't give much allowance or room to maneuver on vehicles in front even if it's already flashing emergency lights to indicate it's not anymore moving forward.

11. Inaccurate speed limit indicators conflicting with posted speed limits on road signs.

12. Follows crow-flight route to destinations instead of freeway or highway bias taking some winding mountain roads in lieu of faster freeways."

I'll add another one. It's high speed land hog and does not automatically go back to slow lane after overtaking.

Ironically, when it's in slow lane and except in sharp curves, it is better keeping inside it than me. :)

AGREE 100% I
~ Def cuts the turns too close and I have almost hit the center divider on broad left turns.
~ Turns into my neighborhood by going way too far into the opposite lane esp on a left into the neighborhood.
~ Does not recognize the address very well and overshoots by 3 or 4 houses
~ Seems to wait until the last minute to get over esp if exiting the freeway.
~ Even when my freeway exit is less than 4 miles away, it will move into the fast lane and cause me to get over 4 or 5 lanes to exit. No need to do that when I could just stay in the 2nd or 3rd lane from the exiting lane.
~ Doesnt come to a smooth stop behind already stopped vehicles seems to keep the normal speed then slam on the breaks.
I

I am not sure how to use that feedback button that shows up when I grab the wheel, I would like to give Tesla feedback but it disappears so quickly and even when I hit it I don't see an indication that it is taking my message.

Thanks!

I used the fsdbeta@tesla.com to report these but it seems, from the posts here that it's not been corrected or addressed. ? ?

I won't recommended the voice command button which may further distract you and put you in more sticky wicket situation than what you tried to avoid.

Thanks for this! I’ve been going crazy trying to get the Rainbow Road in my Cybertruck

On Friday I updated my profile in a Model 3 performance with the Rainbow Road. I’ll see if it carries back over to the Cybertruck once I get it back from the SC on Monday
Tesla Cybertruck FSD for Cybertruck is released!!!! 😱 Now pushing to early access IMG_7597

Congratulations! You just helped Dojo find and resolve another edge case lol. Isn't it weird that we are training an Ai?
