Can't remember how long they offered the 1 year free FSD last year but I've had it now for a year. I think my stats on it were only like 22% usage because I simply like my daily drive style better than FSD and I just love driving this vehicle so much.

Did you jump on the free trial and are you keeping it now that it's $99/mo?

I cancelled mine and have been sans FSD for just a few days. Feeling it out for now but I do feel that little box no longer there on my screen.

Yep, my 13 free months ended last month, and I sub'd. I mean, I use FSD ~100%, so it was a no-brainer for me.

I HATED FSD for a LONG time. mostly because I've been in a Tesla going on 11 year now, and it was always 'coming soon' and every test I did with it, it failed hard within 2-3 miles of me using it and it was a hard NOPE.

Everything changed last Dec. Now I use it, it works, and when I dropped it, I lasted exactly ONE drive manually before buying it again.

I do think new trucks should come with 3-12 months free FSD.
1 month is not enough to hook most drivers.

We also need a family plan option. $2400/yr adds up fast.

I use it only on long highway trips. I will subscribe June July August and that's about it. $300 annually.

My wife convinced me to get FSD when i got the CT as I was on the fence. She wisely asked, "why else would you get a Tesla?" My first drive using it I was amazed and called it magic. When they announced they were pulling the purchase option, we swept in and bought a new Model Y. Every time we are out and see another Tesla, my wife is scoping out the passenger window and gets flabbergasted seeing someone in a Tesla and driving it themselves. She cannot wrap her head around it and it is so entertaining seeing her reaction. Sure. Almost zero maintenance is great, so is the cost of electrons, then there is the pep and amazing sound systems, but FSD is the true hero here.

Exactly, if you have been using it since 14.3.3, it is an essential part of my life now…literally a true “life hack”…I have a Foundation Series so it’s included for life…what a blessing by the way in hindsight…but even it wasn’t its as essential as Netflix or Disney+or HBO Max or Amazon Prime to me…the product is so good that they earned that monthly fee!
