First trip 7.3 miles away. Picked a tough location with a lot of back roads, sweeping turns, stop signs with cross traffic. Surprisingly it worked flawlessly. Very impressive. Worth the wait.
How nervous were you to let go of the reigns?

I live on a narrow country road with no shoulder and a steep drop off. I'm nervous to even try it there. Little room for error.

Downloaded! I am typically at least a week or two after I start seeing YouTube videos about whatever release.

First drive of just a couple miles was great.

I did get in “no you go!” Politeness fight at a stop sign. I think the other driver was pretty pissed by the end. They 100% had the right of way. I just didn’t know how to make the thing go without turning it off and then back on.

tap the accelerator pedal.

This can increase speed with ASSO enabled and tells the vehicle to go, when clear.

Installed and tested in Michigan. No safety or comfort related issues, just an accelerator press to urge it through a blinking yellow that's always been hit or miss with FSD. Anybody with prior FSD experience shouldn't have a problem using it.

Mine as well. Love it iced with small rocks. Not so much with ice and no rocks.

I will try it on the hornet lookout this week. https://dailyinterlake.com/news/2024/sep/15/a-visit-to-hornet-lookout-daily-inter-lake/

My S did it last year sans snow with FSD. It was a bit slow at times. Yet needed to be because of clearance.

I honestly had my hands like a Halo around the wheel waiting to take over. It actually yielded and slowed down approaching a one lane bridge which surprised the heck out of me. But never touched the wheel. It was my first time with FSD so I was very very very skeptical. Worked awesome.

Damn I need mine back from service asap. Interested to see how it is compared to other models.
