I have early access 99% of the time but never know when the update will be out.
So what makes you say we won’t be getting it in the CT?
Wasn’t one of the stated goals for the update to
include the “the full suite of FSD tools” for CT?
Or something of that nature?

Ashok said on X that it is coming soon...I'm interpreting that to mean with v14.2...which I'm hoping will be by the end of October.

I just want some basic stuff like "Stay in the middle of the lane". You guys are talking about all these advanced features...we still need the basics. There is ZERO reason the Cybertruck should hug the left hand side of the lane in various situations.

Totally agree with you! CT also slows to 45mph on an Interstate Highway when it see’s a MINIMUM SPEED sign.

Welp, this is the week(hopefully).

14.1.4 seems it’s ready to go wide to all, so I expect a 14.2 to be the version that does, along with Cybertruck.

I do hope we get all features now. 🤞 I will remain very cautiously optimistic.

So what features are we still missing? ASS (or any kind of summon) and start FSD from parked.
anything else I’m not thinking of?

Posted this in another thread, but wanted to give some feedback so everyone knows it's worth the wait:

Just got V14 on my Model S and LITERALLY didn't touch the steering wheel nor pedals the entire afternoon "drive". That included a noon on Sunday Costco stop (it went around half the parking lot before finding a parking space), a Best Buy stop (not too busy, parked quickly), and a grocery store stop (busy, but quick park job) before going back home. It's amazing (and that's coming from a really good V13, at least here in Florida). I'd say it's almost the same type change as from V12 to V13. Hopefully we'll have it on Cybertruck soon so everyone on here can experience it themselves.

Nice to hear.

Yeah, if v14 can deliver FSD performance parity to the model Y, it might even feel like jumping two major revisions, like v12 to v14.

Our model x on v13 still does some pretty dumb shit sometimes. It’s better than the CT but not by as big of a margin as people make it out to be I feel like.

Yeah, mostly i am referring to the general lack of confidence and the inability in general to get up and go. Also a tweak to the turning arc would be nice.

Typically my biggest issue with it has to do with left hand turns. I feel like it wants me to drive across the opposite direction lane to make one of those. Not nearly as scary in the x

yeah , ive become somewhat comfortable with it, but other drivers i’m guessing are not so comfortable at times with the oncoming tank cutting their lane. 🤣
