I like the designs! I'm not after a beadlock, in fact I prefer the knurling on the bead like you are already doing over dealing with beadlocks. I just don't like the flat-face OEM offset look as much, call me oldschool.We working on 18" wheels.
Beadlocks add cost and weight, so we are considering starting with 18” wheels without them. We believe most people don’t need beadlocks for real off-road use and prefer a smoother ride. However, we could be wrong
Regarding the aggressive offset, CT OEM wheels have a +58.5 offset with virtually zero concavity. A wider stance can be achieved by either creating a very aggressive offset like +30 or by increasing the wheel’s width and adjusting the offset accordingly.
Here are a couple of pictures of our beadlock wheels for F-150. We consider to modify them to get rid of beadlock. What are your thoughts about these designs?
