I emailed the office Wednesday asking to charge the truck since next week it would be towed to Washington. No reply. Thursday I call and ask the same thing, they say there working on it. Friday, no charge.
Itās Sunday now, Monday could be the day the new tow truck arrives for transport so Iām in communication with a buddy Mark in anchorage area. He owns a cyber and is willing to drive onsite and sit for several hours to back feed so that my truck does not arrive dead.
The insurance won't crush it, they will sell it at auction and someone else will repair and re-title it. They have to pay for his loss of usage in addition to repairs. The timeframe might be longer than they have to settle the issue with him.
This outcome is unsatisfactory. I understand all the reasons but your truck should not be totaled. The industry isnāt ready for this disposable frame design and it just seems like such a waste and does not make the truck feel like the robust ready for any planet narrative that goes with it.
