How are people acting like this is okay?

Just because it's a truck doesn't mean you should get it messed up.

Just because they will likely fix it doesn't mean it should come busted.

Just because it's hard to get doesn't mean you should have to take whatever they give you.

This is why we are paying 20k early tax still, because people are willing to do whatever to have the truck.

OP, I have bought a few Teslas and they always fixed the stuff I tell them about right away. Idk how returning would work but you already made it this far. Just get them to fix it. Once you get it where you want it you won't consider returning it anymore. I'm sure

I agree doesn’t matter if it’s a truck or MS plaid,quality control needs to be measured before it leaves the factory. Have to say the MYP I purchased this year had zero flaws or shortcomings. Hopefully these CT issues will be resolved soon.

Tesla gets away with less than perfect fit and finish because very few buyers reject their orders. If more buyers rejected their vehicles it would send a message to leadership.

Buyers are so excited on delivery day that the delivery inspection is usually skipped or very minimal. This is especially true with the limited production Cybertruck.

We ordered a brand new $48,990 Y back in 2/2021 and rejected two VIN’s due to paint defects. The 3rd VIN from the factory was 99% perfect and we accepted It. It’s been trouble free for nearly 53k miles.
