I've been at my cabin the past couple of days, and noticed that I'm losing 7-20 miles per day just sitting. It has been in the 90s here, so it could be cabin overheat protection.

If no one else with the 2.0 mirror experiences battery drain with unattended vehicle I'm going to write it off to that.

If you have the version 2 that is really the 2.5 or 3 version that has the power cord that is USB C and only taps into the one white connector at the door then power is shut off to the mirror when the door is closed. Additionally the power draw of the mirror is so low that you could leave it on 24x7 and not drain that much of your battery. Conversely overheat protection will run your battery down somewhere around a couple miles per hour in hot weather so the range loss you are describing sounds a lot more like overheat protection to me. The mirror simply doesn't draw enough power to do that.

thanks. those were the only new variables I could think and I usually park in a garage so I this was new and surprising.
