Taking the S on a 5k road trip. Free charging. FSD will be enabled, and box will be dragged away by a group of bears that use covers to play frisbee.I’m leaving town for a week so I’ll most likely get the appointment for install in less then a week ?
Best vehicle? Maybe the best truck ever driven but definitely not the best vehicle ever driven. Plus that is relative to your experiences. You should go test drive some high end cars $100k plus and come report back. The very notion that the Cybertruck is half baked tells me that there is no point in further interaction with you. The Cybertruck is hands down the best vehicle I have ever driven.
Thank you lolI'd say always take your current expectation of timing from Tesla and triple to quadruple it.
Been dealing with Tesla since a 2012 S here.
I have been exclusively driving Range Rovers and currently also have a new Defender for 20+ years, the JLR interior build quality is much better. The Cybertruck interior is a little wonky, tech is better, suspension better and it is my favorite vehicle to date. LR also has offroad modes dialed in the Cyber spins tires a lot off road where the Defender rarely spins it tires on an obstacle. they will get there with that, and it's not bad.The very notion that the Cybertruck is half baked tells me that there is no point in further interaction with you. The Cybertruck is hands down the best vehicle I have ever driven.
You are right, I said it is the best vehicle *I* have ever driven. How could I say anything but? I have driven a lot of cars and trucks but certainly not all.Best vehicle? Yes half baked. We are quickly closing in on 1 year since the first deliveries were made in 2023. We are still missing:
Tesla Vision Parking Assist
Summon
Auto Pilot
FSD
Aero Wheel Covers
Light Bar
No video feed in the rear view mirror (yes I know that wasn’t advertised)
Still less than 500 miles of range with no update on the $16k range extender.
No middle seat in the first row as advertised
I can keep going….
It’s ok to love the truck. Heck, I love it but I’m not going to sit here and lie to myself about what was promised and what I decided to buy lol
Thanks for validating my use of the term. A & B apply to this situation. ?You are right, I said it is the best vehicle *I* have ever driven. How could I say anything but? I have driven a lot of cars and trucks but certainly not all.
Just because you don’t have all the things you were promised, or want, doesn’t make something half baked. Maybe you should look up the term:

No need to worry, just dont have expectations until you get notified….we’re all waiting, most of us for much longerI’ve had communication from Tesla about my wheel covers, or my light bar, or any accessories that were missing upon delivery. I don’t have my year of super charging added to my account yet either. I took delivery two weeks ago, should I be worried yet? It’s impossible to contact them, so I’m sort of at their mercy…
Your post is the most positive to date, being that this is the second version after first blunder; you'd think that Tesla would be all over this to impress, but all is quiet. I'm not amused.Someone in the Cyberbeast waiting room said their car was delivered with the aero covers. So hoping they’re gonna start mass delivering them soon.
