Help! Blank front screen after soft reset

After soft reset (holding two button's together) the front screen won’t start and can’t switch to D or R.

The back screen works, AC works, voice commands work, CT is charging, can use phone to interact with it.

Tried doing reset two more times, holding the breaks, etc…

That’s … weird, but don’t forget you can shift with the overhead buttons

Now everything is restored. The overhead console did not work…

Checked the CT 30 min later - the front screen and the overhead console still did not work.

checked after 6 hours - everything restored.

Thanks, I thought doing it, but saw some post about similar issue with model 3, where the person just waited overnight and it helped. Worked for me as well.

Going into deep sleep solves a lot of issues.

Happened to me too. Known issue with 2024.8.12. If this happens to anyone else, you should turn off Sentry Mode and exit the app, let it go into deep sleep. Should be back in a few hours or so. Or you can disconnect and reconnect the accessory battery
