Help with Sentry mode not recording

Summary:
Original 128Gb flash drive that came with Cybertruck exFAT tests on PC.
Only Sentry mode at this time being used.

Folders:
TeslaCam (main folder)
RecenClips (Subfolder)
SavedClipS (Subfolder)
SentryClips (Subfolder)

Sentry Mode activated (yes red dot)

All doors and windows closed

Have a person walk around Cybertruck and press door open on Ridder Side.

Can see on Screen inside of Cybertruck Sentry Mode activated “Recording”

Get a video on my Android phone seeing all four(4) cameras (hum thought all 6 cams record?)
Note: cameras on both front wheels fenders not turned on.

Go to Cyberturck screen NO Recordings?
Remove Flash Drive, look on PC, NO Recordings?

Read Cybertruck manual about Sentry mode and USB drive
Read several Posts here about configuring Flash drive.

Is your phone key connected? It may be too close to the vehicle?

Thanks, I think it is. Phone and key card were in the house while the Cybertruck in the driveway.
I have really strong wifi coverage around my property.
If, that's the case what if I'm in a cafe and truck is outside?

From experience, if it detects a sentry event, it should record.. Regardless of it is connected. have someone (not the key holder) walk around the vehicle and hang around for a bit. It should record.

I believe it depends on the proximity of the key to the vehicle.

Yes, that's what I did, have someone else walk around and then try to open a door.

What about the settings not to use Sentry mode at Home, Work, or Favorite locations? Are those verified turned off?

There's an in-vehicle option to format the USB drive. Worth a shot, perhaps the USB filesystem structure is damaged. ?‍

Good idea may need to reformate. While the flash drive works great on a PC.
I even put some test files on the Flash drive and the work good on a PC.
When I get time today will try the reformate thanks.

Re-formatted Flash drive using Cybertruck(CT) USB format.
Added sub folders.
Not change still no Video on Flash drive when Sentry mode detects.

Sentry mode activated when leaving CT.

You have Exclude Home enabled. Are you doing these tests away from home?

NO in driveway.

I do turn on sentry mode when leaving CT.
And message on CT screen still says Cybertruck Sentry Mode activated “Recording”

Travel far from home (not driveway). Get someone (not you with the phone key) to walk around the truck and try to open the door/touch the vehicle.. See if it works. OR disable exclude home and get someone to act sketchy around the truck for a bit.

Will post a new photo, I tried so many I posted the wrong one that had Exclude from home checked when it is not. sorry.

I can try far away from house but that is a no go since park sometimes in the driveway and need sentry mode to work. hi hi

I tried a new card, formatted that card inside the CT, then put my old oem CT card back in, then it started to function properly. You could try a restart without any installed

Contacted Tesla support. they had me use a new Flash and format via truck which I did.
Same result. can see Sentry activated and recording on truck screen but NOTHING on Flash.
Like you said restarted without and with. Still does not work.
Tesla stumped.
Going to try an Audio Flash drive today.
