2024 CT died less than a week after pickup lol - threw bunch of powertrain failure alerts and etc. then just wouldn’t unlock or anything anymore. Service center apparently fixed it with the following msg:

Anybody else had this issue or recurring concerns? Thanks!!

The forum has seen trucks disabled for this of different causes - the truck's computer seems pretty conservative when sensors are out of bounds.

It's nice to hear someone was able to get a fix that wasn't actually replacing hardware.

The high voltage system has whats called a HVIL or "high voltage interlock loop". In very basic terms, it checks for proper connections throughout the system, that there are no voltage leaks (damaged cables, bad terminations, water ingress, poor connections, etc), and there are no shorts. This is all done, before, the high voltage contactors are closed to energize the system. Its a very robust system, that errs on the side of safety. You were and are in no potential danger. Per the message, it sounds like one of the connectors in that circuit was partially seated and needed to be reconnected. The cut-loop for fire firefighters is part of that HVIL circuit, so it could honestly have been that simple. And not even one of the high voltage carrying cable connectors.

I had a similar issue and it was a wire harness that was not properly connected and attached 3 days at the service center to get it fixed. They took the truck out for road testing and it was white with road salt dirt. I guess they don’t have a wash available for the customer service.

It sounds like they had to disconnect a part of the harness and plug it back in? Or maybe something came loose and needed to be reattached? Glad they fixed it!
