This started Friday morning, curiously, during a colder-than-normal snap, and following a Software Update. I've started receiving "High Voltage System Error Detected - Vehicle May Not Restart"- but only during moderate to strong regen braking and/or accelerating. If I baby the car, I can keep the error from happening. The error will appear and then almost immediately clear itself. It's happening so much that both my wife and I can predict when it will happen, based on how we're driving.

That's strange enough, but on top of that: I discovered that if I open the tailgate or open/close the tonneau while the truck is charging- the truck will immediately stop charging- and the only way to make it start charging again is to unplug/plug it back in.

Since the errors keep clearing themselves, I can't find them in the Open Alerts in service mode.

This is a strange one. I obviously have service scheduled- but not until more than a week from now.

The performance of the truck seems completely normal- other than the occasional alert and startling notification sound that comes along with it- which of course immediately disappear. It seems OK to keep driving until service. And when I asked Tesla service they said "it's up to you".

SO my question to you all is: would you keep driving it until the service appointment?

I think there is a risk that you may be stuck somewhere because the Vehicle may not restart (like the error said), because it's intermittent, it could be a "wire" somewhere that is not completely attached. I would take it in and not waiting for Service appointment.
