Hello guys...

So my local service team is pretty terrible, everytime I take the truck to them they make things worse so I would like to fix this one myself.

The frunk lets water in on the passenger side basically and sits higher on drivers side.

-Sits higher on passenger side no matter the bump stop position, I can even remove the bumpstops and latch completely and it will still sit higher (!!!), and at the very bottom the edge of the frunk is almost touching the fender, pic below:

-The frunk is backwards towards the cabin about 3mm and at the very bottom is touching the headlight which already left a slight mark there, see image below:

In my mind I need to move the frunk towards the frunt on the driver side so that it wont hit the headlight and can come down more... Do you guys know which adjustment can do this? its not the bumpstops at all as it happens with or without them...

Thanks!

I don't know, because I've never needed to work on mine beyond a minor adjustment by turning the bump stops in or out.

It looks like someone tried to adjust your frunk to sit flush (height wise) with the side edges of the quarter panels. The height of the quarter panels is supposed to sit about 1/8"-3/16" proud of the frunk's top surface.

Fixed it...

Had to unbolt a bit one of the hinges next to the frunk strut drivers side and shift it slightly forwards, then adjusted the receiver latch lower and adjusted bumpstops... looks perfect now... can't believe Tesla couldn't do it!
