The falloff of higher frequency sounds is pretty quickly, at least.

But a well-made pulse generator should not create a loud noise. Noise is inefficiency in the system.

Likely more or less same options as with a normal truck. Roof rack, sticking up on top of the tailgate, or with the tailgate down. Best economy is likely flat in the bed with the tailgate down and the vault cover closed. Make sure to strap it down.
