Yesterday got the following errors and have a service appointment set up, but they can't see me for awhile. I noticed that it seems like a lot of people are posting about HVBATT errors recently is the software related or is this most likely something seriously wrong?

My truck is in service for exactly these errors with about 21,000 on the odometer 10,XXX VIN AWD. Mine started with a stopped charge at home. Unplugged and re-plugged in and was able to complete the charge. I did set up an appointment that evening and they were able to see me the next morning (yesterday) which I'm grateful for working me in.

When I check in last night they were diagnosing still and focused on the flat flex cable. My truck wasn't part of the recall last fall but indicated it maybe should have been. I'll update once I get resolution.

Just received word from the service center that my truck is ready. They did 2 items. One was installing the harness guide which was the recall that many on this forum went through. The bigger item appears to have been mid-voltage backbone harness and that ended up being replaced. Part numbers are in the screen shots below.

Thank you! I’ve been in contact with support as the errors disappeared two days after and they are baffled.

Good luck. So did they run the diagnostic tests to try to isolate it? While my errors had cleared as well by the time I showed up to the service center they did run a series of tests and isolated it to a bad harness. Hope they get to the bottom of it for you.

Same here. Popped up in the messages after the last software update. Disappeared and hasn't come back.

I'm leaning toward a software bug and would hold off on replacing random parts until they can get more information on this.

Currently they won’t do anything until closer to the appointment. They said they would run diagnostic then and tell me if I need to come in.

Gotcha. I thought your truck was in the shop already. As @Limes2 notes this may well be a software bug and they may have thrown parts at mine. Dunno.

Just picked mine up after a little over a week in the shop due to no AC charging, described earlier in thread. They threw everything but the kitchen sink at it parts wise. Even a new 48V battery, which was surprising. (I’m accustomed to replacing batteries after having a 2018 Model 3 with a 12V, but thought the newer and larger 48V would at least make it 5-7 years.)

I’m still convinced it was all software related, or at very least software induced, after 20K trouble-free miles.

Service Center was excellent to work with though and provided a loaner.
