Which update caused your positive statement? Until they find a fix for “Phantom Wipe” / “dry wipe” I am not on board the “hip parade”

Honestly, I rarely get phantom dry wipes.
You are rare, it has been reported on this channel many times. To my knowledge with little improvements. I happens a lot but mainly while using FSD. I thought it was mainly being caused by Sun Glare until my trip last week where it was happening when day was very cloudy. I plan on taking down W/S camera cover “again” and clean glass. It doesnt look dirty or cloudy but I will try anything to stop “dry Wipe”
We're still talking about the windshield here right?
yes. w/s wipers

I get dry wipes all the time, but i guess it's my fault. I haven't taken it in to clean the offgassing from the glass over the front camera, so it keeps complaining about the visibility. I've just gotten used to the FSD two step, turn on FSD, turn off wipers...

I get phantom dry wipes, but it seems to happen at the same location every time. I'm wondering if there is some sort of RF interference at that location, possibly from a streetlamp?

Just finished 1500 mile trip on FSD, it doesn’t have anything to do with location. I am assuming engineers will get around to addressing issue when have time outside FSD programming. Phantom Wiper probably not high on to-do list at this time.

I seem to only get phantom wipes on a sunny day when traveling under a tree canopy. When there is mottled sunlight coming thru a crisscross of branches and leaves, it gives your eyes almost a strobe light effect, and it seems to make my CT blink it's wiper.

I don't know. I can't otherwise explain why it happens every single time at the same place on my road travelling in either direction at any time of day or night. It just so happens that the ranch there has a couple of those high pressure sodium security lights and as soon as I pass the light poles the wiper sweeps.
