The lack of any visible wiper blades on the Cybertruck has left a question mark as to how Tesla will implement this function in the production version. It just happens to be that Tesla has filed for, not one, but two patents for wiper inventions in the past year. Which do you think is more likely to wind up on the Cybertruck?

Cool tech! I would think (and hope) that the electromagnetic wiper is more likely to see implementation on the Cybertruck. Though pairing it up with the laser beam tech would be the best of both worlds. Plus, the laser only zaps debris and can't handle actually wiping away rain/snow.

Just imagine lasers literally shooting out a Cybertruck. Sounds like sci-fi stuff, but may actually be reality soon.

In this pretty informative video they describe that the new glass material could be like using rainX at all times. That the glass is so smooth, due to the type "transparent aluminum" that the water will roll-off. Its a pretty long video, but they give a lot of information.

That may work for rain and water which can just slide off because of its thing viscosity, but some stuff thicker/stickier stuff still requires a physical wiper (mud/dirt, bugs, wet leaves, etc)

I saw that whole video (almost 2 hours) and it was very informative. So according to expert wipers will not be necessary with this magical "transparent aluminum" (by the way, in Voyage Home I think they were bartering the formula for TA for the 6" thick plexiglass) because it is so smooth, and tough, that nothing will stick to it. So tree tar and bird crap will end up on the top of the truck instead of on the windshield

The price of the Cybertruck should include all three types of wipers. Rubber, magnetic, and lazer.
