I think you kind of missed the funny in his/her post.
Of course all you said is true buuut you get an unusual amount of “Extra” on these CT or maybe Tesla forums in general. And I suspect it does have to do with the doom and gloom CT haters people feeding it to owners and buyers so they panic if they hear a noise ..I’m working in my garage and hear my truck make like an unlocking door sound sometimes. Am I going to post and panic with my vin # or am I just going to use common sense and say”maaa its a car settling? I don’t think you have read to many owners saying negative things to people who generally come for advice that is on the level. When you read the 200th tax credit thread or Tesla trucks are going to go under thread. My personal fav is “I’m waiting for tax credit ,30k truck to come, not a buyer on the first year, Jesus to come back! It’s time to be a little sarcastic and have some fun with it
I’m glad I’ve noticed a little loosen up and others recognizing and calling it out here lately.

weird way to start a conversation but here it goes. I get to take another road trip in the CT. Look forward to it. I keep reading these forums looking for upgrades, ideas and general topics but soooo many are negative. I am also on other media sources and they too are doom and gloom. I am terrified I will hit a snow flake or something stupid, blow out the front, heater will in turn quit and turn the cab into a deep freeze killing my batteries and trapping me like a frozen burrito. Meanwhile the wheels will fall off, bumpers and window wiper. When I do not think I can take any more I can escape because the cab has rusted through and the glass popped out. Not to worry though, both motors will have quite before I got far and the controller will catch fire on the way to a charger because I have a 90 mile range. Thank god Tesla will have it repaired in 3-4 years. At my expense of course. Sound about right? Or should I just run it and say " I did pay 108k for one of the most sophisticated trucks in the world more capable than anything else and it should be fine." I am going with the later but for those of you who post positives, thanks for those.

I like to hear that many found my sarcasm funny. It was supposed to be. I love my truck. It is great. Stopped reading into a lot of these things anyway. And honestly, never one time found the range to give me anxiety. In fact, it surprises me often when I pass areas I used to stop. I just keep going. I do NOT miss gas stations at all. Like plugging in at a Fred Myers, or visitors center. Cleaner, nicer and gives me a chance to stretch. I do NOT miss changing the oil, worrying about freezing anti freeze or bad fuel. Anyone here ever say " got a bad batch of electricity, had to put in some battery dryer?" NO. I do not miss listening to it warm up for 10 mins every day. It has been amazing so far.

Naa, donwhat ever. I’m just explaining that point of view. Maybe screen shot with out showing them credit but like I said plenty do link so it isn’t the end of the world and it does make your post make sense with it so. Catch 22.
