I just saw This Review that says the CT has SiriusXM. Is this the actual antenna receiver or is it just a streaming app? Haven't seen a definitive mention of SiriusXM for CT yet.

I wonder where they got that information then. All I see on the Internet is that the model S and X have official SiriusXM antenna installs. And occasional rumor that the Internet streaming SXM app might be coming eventually to all vehicles.I cannot find XM nor the hotspot functionality mentioned in the review.
Before Tesla offered an official radio retrofit to mcu2 upgraded cars, there was a way to install a radio and to activate it within the car. Pretty sure it required telling the service center to modify a config file on the car. If you have toolbox you might be able to diy it. I’d imagine it would be the same process with siriusxm.I wonder where they got that information then. All I see on the Internet is that the model S and X have official SiriusXM antenna installs. I see a YouTube video of someone who installed SXM receiver hardware in a model Y equipped with Ryzen Computer running a new enough version of firmware. Indicating that certain computers can somehow turn it on if a receiver is detected.
So it seems some people have advanced understanding of how SXM works with Teslas.
Has there been any analysis on the computer in the CT yet?
I've had a lifetime subscription since 2005. But also it still to this day has more flexible listening content choices than other platforms. The streaming app includes Pandora content too. So it's not just because I have it for free, it's because it's quick to switch between news, music, casts, sports. There's also the live aspect to it. I actually don't even care that much about the satellite connection in the middle of nowhere... That's just a bonus to me now days. If Tesla's OS doesn't want to support the streaming app, it's likely I can just load up the web streaming player in the browser... Worst case is you can always pair phone Bluetooth. Are you "Sirius" you still use SiriusXM they havent gone bankwupt yet ?
I also purchased the lifetime subscription in 2005. Looks like we did good with that one. I would occasionally use my phone to access SiriusXM in my M3. I never tried using the browser. Perhaps audio is improved using browser? Using the phone as a receiver was an extra step I usually didn't waste time with as I just used the default Tesla streaming options. It would be great to hear SiriusXM on the awesome CT sound system, I'm anxious to turn it up and hear what is being said as the best in any vehicle.I've had a lifetime subscription since 2005. My lifetime sub is cutting the antenna until they stop sending the deactivate signal lmfao. I’m just wondering how much was your lifetime sub and does pandora allow you to stream any song you want (like Spotify)?I've had a lifetime subscription since 2005.
