IMO the overall ratings in the places it didn't do well are kind of misleading:
  1. Headlights primarily dinged for causing excessive glare. This is comical, considering the prevalence of: lifted trucks with aftermarket lights, shitboxes with blue tinted halogens, and people just straight up driving wiht high beams on.
  2. Seat belt reminders not ringing long enough? Take some personal accountability for yourself and your passengers, maybe, IDK?
  3. LATCH and anchor tiedowns too hard to find...I literally moved our baby seat from our X7 to the demo truck in 5-10 mins and didn't have to consult a manual to find the tiedowns. I would understand a bad rating if they failed/were missing/etc., but this is something you do like once a month (if that).
I care about the people inside being safe and avoiding hitting a car/person...seems to do well there :p
Well, if they got dinged for the length of seatbelt alarms we certainly should have had a software update by now. If we have, then Tesla should announce that.

Seatbelt reminders are a major component of their testing? That is interesting. What does a G seatbelt reminder do? Ct has sound and a visual cue for each undone seatbelt. Do some cars refuse to drive?

You could adopt the strategy of Toyota, which plays such an annoying sound for so long that you consider it psychological torture, and tend to try and fix it mid-drive... which diverts your attention from the road, to fish for a seatbelt.

Brilliant.

Whoever assigned "poor" for the headlight performance for this truck needs to be investigated themselves. They are smoking crack. Not only as these the least intrusive, lowest riding headlights of any truck I have ever seen (ever), but the beam pattern is exceptionally well placed as to not blind vehicles from the rear.

Hit piece for them. Shocking, I know.

Seat belt reminders?

I could use with less reminders. I had a '73 Nova - first year they had seat sensors required - and the alarm lived in the glove box because no way were we going to listen to it buzz every time we hit a pothole on the way to the grocery store alone.

And glare? They have a poor rating for glare? Compared to what, I wonder?
