From my recent visit to my birthplace (Long Island), the Hamptons and Manhattan for the US Open, I can attest to the inability to drive fast. The traffic was awful. Here in Houston, it's Beast mode 24/7, but I'm normally commuting outside of rush hour. FSD is the closest thing to Chill Mode for me. (Cap out at 85?! Come on, Elon!)
FSD is absolutely Heavenly in the traffic here!

I said
in the videos from X you can see there was also a good size tree involved. they must have taken that tree out first, that took out the frontend and sent them spinning into the pole that caused the rest of the damage to the rear and flipped them upside down
and someone said "I saw that documentary a few days ago "
and that reminded me of a story that happened to me about cars and movies.

I was at a friends apt one day with a few other friends we meet at his place it was in LA downtown almost on Figueroa and 2nd right there is a tunnel that has been used in many car commercials, so that day no one brought the beers i think it was poker night Texas Holdom and he's on the 8th floor of this building we draw straws to see who has to walk down and around the corner to grab the brewskis You guessed it, I draw the short straw. So, I'm walking I get outside and walk into a movie scene about to go down and they did one practice pass and then went for the real take, and they only had one shot at it. So, this was when the Dodge viper was new it may have been for a commercial, but it was quite a production and spectacle that I stumbled onto. Here's the scene the viper is under pursuit by a black and white classic cop car. They come blazing out the tunnel and a school bus has been prepared and appears to have blocked the intersection, but the viper was fast enough to maneuver around the bus and the less agile cop car was set up to continue straight onto a pipe ramp. That ramp hits the cop car on the passenger side and launches the car into a spin whose trajectory was set to shear the roof off of the bus. This bus was prepared by removing all the glass and weakening all the window posts in order to get the roof to come off and to get the breaking glass effect they had a bunch of panes of glass strung up behind the bus. and I'm standing there I saw no other spectators on the ground floor and I'm watching this whole thing go down let's not forget the movie style pyrotechnics and the guy with the take 2 sign he says ok here we go this ones for real! I couldn't believe my eyes. I missed a few poker hands the beers got hot but it was worth it. and I never did find out what it was for. if anyone remembers a scene like this? please tell us about it.

you guys want to hear another story I meet the giant actor in that movie he was known as "jaws" because all his teeth were metal. I was with a group of friends 15 of us to be exact this must have been around 1991 and we were all getting ready to go up mt. Whittney for a 2-week hike and camp out in the wilderness of Inyo national park with everything you need for 2 weeks in a backpack. mt. Whittney is over 14,000 feet high. so, our last stop before heading out and this was after checking in to the ranger's office and letting them know what our plan was and how many of us there is, and fishing permits all that good stuff taken care of. and our last stop was a well-known pizza house in Lone Pine on the main blvd. we all walk in and there he was signing autographs on a photo but it's not even a color wait it's not even his face. ha-ha it was just a black and white xerox copy of his enormous hand he was signing. and thats it thats the story I hiked up mt whittney with a autographed copy of jaws hand in my backpack while almost getting frostbite on my toes.

Insane, my guess is drinking and flying. The fact no one appears to have died is crazy... but a great selling point.
