After a year my interior B-pillar cover is starting to get ratty. I guess I am constantly rubbing on it getting in and our of the truck. I've been looking to see if someone made a TPE or other resilient cover to protect this area. The vegan leather just isn't very durable.

I know I can get a trim piece for $145, but then it would probably need replacing in another year or so. Anyone know of a product that I just am unable to find?

Got any pictures of this ratty A-pillar you speak of?

Mine looks bad as well (see my picture). This technically is the C-Pillar. A-pillar would be between the windshield and that little side/dash window. B-pillar would be between the little dash window and the front door. C-pillar is between front and back door. I as well am interested in suggestions

I've edited the title and the first post to correctly call it the B-Pilar. That's what Tesla calls it in the parts catalogue.

$145.00 that's nuts, in the spring in warmer weather, I'm going to play with some 3M spray glue and some vinyl material, probably close the vegan white, and see what I can come up with, mine is just annoying me at this point
I'm thinking it part winter clothing, zippers and the seat belt, and my occasional fingernails making the scratches
one truck I also installed the white seat covers I got from Ebay, they do get dirty,
and the other Cyberbeast I left stock black with white interior trim,
one day when I have nothing to do

Scratches in textured plastic can be minimized with heating, or cleaning with a mild abrasive like plastic polish or even toothpaste. But if you're too aggressive, the plastic will become smooth or even shiny.

Worth a try if you're about to shell out for a new one anyway 🤷‍♂️

That isn't textured plastic there. Its covered with the vegan leather. Poor choice for that location.

How is "vegan leather" not plastic
Fair point. It is plastic. Its soft plastic with a cushioned backing. I should have said that it isn't hard plastic.
