I got the invite, was pretty excited, but then after you read the T’s & C’s I got cold feet. Basically, they now say they are going to hook your VIN to all your data, they have the right to capture all of your camera footage ( including the cabin camera), and they are going to also capture you GPS location & info. Pretty ominous when you think about it! If they would have said, for this we will give you any type of credit or beni, besides just early access… might have signed up. Not paranoid at all, but not sure I’m ready for that level of “Big Brother”!

Understood and agree...this invite isn't the FSD (supervised) currently you have installed in your foundation series...I too have foundation series (beast) and using FSD (supervised)..its 'new code' deployed to 'early release testers' (by invite from Tesla)..I suspect it's a step toward FSD (unsupervised)..a truly fully autonomous driving cybertruck..like the cybercab.

I too have FSD like everyone else but overnight in the app (seems to be random Texas residents) some of us got an invite to enroll as 'beta testers' for upcoming FSD 'early release' features before the public...I got approved (see below) but nothing yet but as far as new code to my beast.

I have a Foundation Series so I had it from the beginning. My wife and I love it. I have used FSD driving up mountain road and in LA traffic. It really is very useful on long drive or late drives when you feel a little drowsy. I had to admit it but there have been a few late drive heading home from LA that I nodded off for a second or two and was extremely thankful that FSD was there for me. FSD has a few flaws but it would rate it as 95% complete. If you do any long drives, late drives, or drive in places you are not accustom to it is worth it's weight in gold.

Course it did. Chuck, Chris, Omar to name a few. This is just expanding the pool. Mostly starting in Texas. But Gregg in AZ got it too.

Got it in DFW metroplex on CT but not S or 3. I'll have FSD, but S & 3 are NOT HW4, so my experience seems to confirm the consensus views as I understand them.

No, it didn't simply come with EA. People were selected, but there were very few as you said, this is expanding that pool.

I wanted to differentiate that the FSD that came with the Foundation Series CT is not Early Access, this is a different thing. It's always been limited in scope. I was part of it for a few years as well.

Basically if you agree to this you will have the option to install the latest versions of FSD before the rest of the fleet. You will most likely be getting some versions that don't end up being released to everyone and may have issues. Then they correct based on the early access people and send you a new version.

I will sign up because I like to test. If you don't want to be a tester then it would be best to skip.

Goodbye to all of them. They offer nothing, and trash the brand when convenient to gain clicks. The ones that actually add some value live in boxes that they never travel out of. Thus little valve. Chuck, dirtydude et al.
