RN11352… received invite last week. I thought it would be another 6 months or so. Not going to order an FS. Prolly won’t order period. Range, price, potential resale value and quality issues all play a factor. It’s really anticlimactic to me after waiting 4 years. Kinda bummed actually. Also

Tesla in general struggles in the used market now with their ability to price pressure competition with new vehicles. CTs still getting $10k-$20k more than purchase price though. Just that legal hurdle if there actually is one.

Quality issues aren't bad and it's too early to determine any resale value. Unless you wanted to immediately flip it.

You don't need to tell us. Many are delaying ordering for various reasons, and Elon warned about this trend over a year back when he was discussing the consequences of high interest rates and their effect on affordability. But I'd sit on your invite to order if I were you, because a Cybertruck is still cheaper to drive per mile than a Prius with a lot more power, safety, and versatility, with the superior benefits of it being a Tesla. One day you may find it is an appropriate time to order after all.

But if you're someone who doesn't care what they spend on fuel per mile, monthly, or annually - or if you're someone who doesn't care about the long term cost of ownership - then your situations are first-world problems compared to most, so whatever you decide.
