I am at 24k on my original Foundation Series. My tires are now 2/32, so I am wondering if anyone has tried to file a claim to Goodyear on these tires? It is worth it for 50% off new tires.

What would you file a claim for?

24k is pretty average for wear on those. It's the biggest reason I switched. Some were in the teens when they had to replace.

Someone had tried going through warranty from Goodyear and had recived pittance for it - there is a thread somewehre.

But I would like to see you try, I'm going to as I'm at 24k and I can see my tires will need replacing soon.

Here is what Goodyear warranty page says:

I am hoping for 50% proration credit for new tires.
Do you have documentation that you've rotation tires every 6k?

If so, it won't hurt to try it. I think others here would be excited if you were successful.

absolutely when the tread wears before the warranty ends
try Tesla, will probably fail as for them it would have to be due to a failure, could be a bad alignment or your just a more aggressive driver than the warranty expects

i've successfully done via tire manufacturer warranty claim, call goodyear, they will send you to a non-tesla goodyear authorized installer for inspection, give the inspector $20 tip
goodyear and the location will talk, goodyear will give you funds toward the purchase of new
dont remember if a check/ACH money or a credit at the installer

good luck

You don’t want to warranty them. They’re trash. Buy Michelins and don’t think about it anymore.
