So I am at 6 months and 20k miles currently on my 2025 CT AWD. I was thinking it might be best to save a lot of my gripes over fit and finish/warranty concerns until a bit closer to the warranty expiration at 50k miles. Has anyone else here created a checklist of sorts of things to keep an eye out for? For example, maybe panels being loose or the glue failing on them. Maybe some seals on the frunk or tonneau. Would you wait or would you enter services tickets as things are noticed? My thoughts are that I'd rather have a complete and comprehensive list all ready to go right at warranty end to maximize my time with the truck and not have to make numerous trips as things are noticed.

Pretty sure my warranty was 50k miles. I'm having all of the stuff done now, at 41k miles and one and a half years of ownership.

Open your app, scroll to the bottom of the page with your truck, tap the bottom left button for “specs & warranty”.

Yeah it's 50k. I corrected my post. Not sure why I had 40k in my head.

Date of claim (problem) is from the day its reported. If a warranty problem persists past the warranty expiration, if i recall it’s still a warranty problem. Ive been reporting as i go. The list of things they said were “normal” then fixed at a later visit is growing.

You can’t do that on the CT like on the S3XY cars?
In all of my other cars Tesla gives you the option through the app but not until you’re within a certain range/timeframe of the main warranty expiring. I never hit it on miles, so it’s always within a couple of months of whatever the warranty period is expiring.

I forgot to mention the advice part. After some experience with my service center, I found it best to type up your list, and screenshot it. Rather than enter every item into the app separately, add the item "other" and post your screenshots.

Once they start the chat, upload your photos to chat, and Request they pick a service date for you where you'll have a CT loaner available. They have issues with correct time estimates with a long list, but this way they enter it manually, and also ensures your loaner no matter how long it all takes.

Best wishes

Personally, I do everything as soon as I know about it. A million things can change between now and when you’re “going” to do it and you may not end up doing it.

That's a good argument as well. I'd hate for 'life' to happen and i miss the window.
