I just noticed it today while drying my CT after a pressure auto wash. I’m afraid to use freeways now. I’ve been holding off a long list of problems including those recalls but I think it’s now to make an appointment to fix them. I will miss driving it while in a SC … A CT loaner might never happen.

I vaguely remember seeing a youtube video explaining how to tighten that down yourself? I'll let others chime in. Hopefully the newer models dont have this same problem

If you open the frunk and look in near the hinge, you can see where the nut is and you can finger tighten it from there as long as it hasn’t fallen all the way off. I did this to mine until I could get into a service center and have them do it correctly.

Thanks! I've tried searching for it but didn't find any link yet and then saw your post and looks like it's simple enough, I'll try it later.

Save yourself the trip, grab a small socket wrench and a 5/16 socket..

Open frunk and you will locate driver side nut in below pic and then find the one on passanger side, found it easier to locate with my fingers and then put the socket on the bolt, and tighten.

I was able to tighten mine with a very thin open end wrench. Here's how I did it.

It’s within spec. That’s what the SC will say
No, we had one that wasn't even THAT bad and they fixed it! It was just one corner of the same panel sticking up a bit... But they fixed it...
