Got my VIN first thing this morning in checking the app!! Then got a text several hours later from Tesla Delivery with a link to the same. Getting real - hard to believe!

Evidently, workers have to power buff each SS panel as part of the pre-delivery process to remove most of the visible scratches and what not. Then they have to detail each truck. I saw my Cyberbeast sitting at the back lot of the SC...It looked like it had been dragged thur a mud pit, dirt everywhere, inside and out

You had PowerShare installed before taking delivery of your truck?

I am 1/17 in Vegas, and the installer is hounding my to pay the remaining balance so they can install the equipment, however I don’t even have a VIN, and the service center can’t provide any details other than “we don’t know”

I qualified for Powershare, was assigned an installer by Tesla, and that installer declined the project, as did a second installer I asked a quote from. No help Tesla trying to get to the proper team that handles this. I want the home charging and backup. Just need to find an installer in NJ. I can do it myself, if Tesla would give ME the hardware that I will be paying for. I don’t want any cheap ass, under valued credits.

To finalize your setup, your home charging needs to be backed up by your Powerwall. Home Backup is compatible with any home charging unit, but 240V charging will provide the best experience. Our recommended home charging solutions are Wall Connector or Universal Wall Connector. Home Backup will be available with a software update expected in June. In the meantime, you will still be able to charge your Cybertruck at home.

In place of the Home Backup equipment, we’ll be providing you with a one-time use $700 Tesla Shop voucher. You can use this to purchase home charging to complete your Home Backup setup – or to purchase other charging equipment, apparel, accessories and more. This voucher can only be used once and any unused balance remaining after the transaction will be forfeited. This will be provided to you within two weeks after your Cybertruck delivery.

Sent a text to Tesla the other day asking if my CT had left Austin (My VIN is 88XX) They replied it was still there and currently tracking for an early May delivery. I take that to mean middle of May.

Delivery Scheduled for 4/27 !!!

Took delivery today, 4/27, and it went well.
I had my check list to go through so it took a while.
Didn't find much at delivery center. Found a few things at home in the afternoon that will get taken care of through service.

Drives like a dream!
Went to the post office and parked. Next thing I know a couple in the white truck (toyota?) park near me and get out to ask, "What kind of car is that?"
"It's a Tesla Cybertruck. Go check out their website..."
"Can I look inside?"
Sure, opened driver side doors so they could see...
