I just picked up from service and I was told once i update to 2024.45.32.10+ It should be resolved I havent had a chance to scour but that looks to be true based on other comments.

my service experience was pretty good, man they deal with irritated people all day not sure how they do it. They kept it overnight, and i got a bonus key card out of it, along with getting a 23' a p100d Model X, which i was way less a fan of than i expected to be That yoke is weird af. Squircle w/ sbw is where its at.

Got the update tonight and key cards work again.

Has anybody else experienced this? I went to use my key card yesterday and it would not unlock my truck, tried the second one with no luck. These are key cards that previously worked. I got in the truck with my phone key, then turned off Bluetooth and put the card in the cupholder and it was recognized and I could operate the vehicle, same with the second key card. I could not figure out why it would operate the truck but not unlock it.
I went to my local service center and the tech said this is the third CyberTruck with this issue in the last two days. Apparently it is a software bug.
I’d be curious if anybody else has encountered this and if you haven’t tried your card in a while, try it and see if you’re affected.
The technician said he will put this in the system and reach out when they have a solution but as of now, they do not have a fix.

Had this issue after an update, just had service apt on the 4th told them. Tech said he created a ticket to have an update sent down. I just got an update about an hour ago havnt tested if it’s fixed yet.

It happened to me last week, I needed to leave my phone behind so I tested the key cards, niether of them worked. I resynced both of them using the touchscreen, didn't work, tried resyncing using the app, didn't work, despite both of them appearing to resync properly. I already had a SC appointment for next week so I think I added this to the list.

After 45.32.10 was installed the key card started to work.

I guess I wait (im)patiently for the 45.32.10 update.... I have a cross country trip scheduled but I am reluctant to travel with this key card issue.

I got the 45.32.10 update last week and the key cards now work. I also learned that in order to add the Apple Watch as a key you need to place a key card in the card reader. Once I did that and tapped on the add watch as key button on the watch it paired with no issues.

I bet most of us use our phones, but if people tried the cards after seeing our posts, I’d bet they have the same issue. This could definitely be a problem if it was a surprise while you’re out in the world.

As others have reported the update appears to fix the problem, my key cards work again. Don't know about anyone else but I was also given an extra month of FSD a couple of weeks ago after the key card debacle so my free trial now runs through April 21st.
