Hoping someone here can help with this one. I have two cyberbeasts, one foundation 38k vin and one 2026 beast 90k vin.

The Foundation has Lane Departure avoidance (and emergency LDA) defaulted to off every start.

The 2026 beast has both LDA settings enabled every start.

Both trucks have same software yet the 2026, I can disable it per drive but it says it (and it will) always come back on next start.

The foundation stays off. In my area having it defaulted on every drive is a major nuisance.

Does anyone know what else could be causing the two trucks to be different? I certainly want to disable on the 2026 for more than just one drive.

They both use my same user profile and have the same versions of software.

pics below. (first the foundation then the 2026)

Please if you know the answer to this total nuisance do share!

That is weird, logic points to software / profile issue. I only have a 2024 FSCB so can’t troubleshoot much. Mine is also disabled by choice and stays that way. Although on mine it will audio alert sometimes when leaving my driveway saying I departed roadway and corrected steering was applied even tho it was not.

To resolve, I would start with removing recreation your profile on the undesired one and maybe even go as far as re setting up the phone key as a first step.

Thanks will give that a shot. (I dont dare try changing anything on the foundation in case its a one way gate like the horn was way back when lol)

update here - its 'appears' that only the 2026+ model cybertrucks are forced to enable lane departure on every start.

i would like to hear from a few more owners to be sure, but so far as i have heard, only the 2026 guys are forced to keep it on, earlier years can remain disabled through drive cycles
